# Content Is Life
Rockstar Influencers, Content Creators, and Social Media Mavens are queens too!
Hello, My name is Leanne Fairweather. My passions in art, music, and media inspire others to achieve their goals. I have 6 years experience working in branding and digital marketing for small businesses. I use Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to create a network for artists, creatives, and industry masterminds to express their ideas on how to change the market. When I am not sitting in front of my laptop I am out in the field learning, networking, and perfecting my craft. Here is my story of attending Blogalicious 8 in Atlanta, Georgia:
Quote 1 🔑🔑🔑
I want us all to fulfill our greatest potential. To find our calling and summon the courage to live it. – Oprah Winfrey
Women need inspiration. To be inspired we must inspire. Our legacy is contingent upon leaving behind something that will impact the planet for ages to come. The story we write today, creates the future of tomorrow. As Mothers, Daughters, Creators, and Queens we produce opportunities for others through our online platforms. We need to share our story and in turn we attract others to be brave enough to share their stories too.
Quote 2 🔑🔑🔑
When you do more than you’re paid for eventually you’ll be paid for more than you do.
During the sessions one of the big themes was: “How Can I Start to Monetize My Blog.” The answer is more obvious than it seems. In the session “Designing Your Sales Funnel System with Business Coach Kim McCarter” shared tips on how to shift readers into paying clients. Attract the viewer with eye-popping visuals, use analytics and targeting tools to reel them in, then drive it home with the CTA. Your Call-To-Action is the objective you wish to accomplish with your webpage. Use strategic action verbs to encourage your reader to produce the desired result. This may include implementing phrases like “Buy My New Book”, “Follow Me on Social”, or “Donate on Paypal”. It’s now time to bank on your enterprise and if you don’t use those magic words you might miss big bucks. The whole idea is that you never know until you try.
Quote 3 🔑🔑🔑
“If there’s a book you really want to read but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” Toni Morrison
New York Times Best-Selling Author, Luvvie Ajayi, came to share the details of Her debut book: “I’m Judging You”. The self-help guide launched on September 13th and became an instant success. Luvvie admits that her “tell it like it is” attitude has stirred trouble for her on social media, and encouraged bloggers to stand firm in what they believe in despite criticsm from media or public opinion. From Blogger to Best-Seller: Luvvie truly epitomizes our conference theme: hashtag Content is Life.
Blogalicious 8 represented a platform for women to receive valuable knowledge, network with top influencers and connect with re-known brands in one collaborative space. The three day line-up included bloggers, brands, and the Black Queen creating a fantastic experience of simply being Blogalicious. Check out their official Flickr album by photographer Maurice Bland.
